Towel:
Fold the towel in half. Then grab the towel with both hands and lift the towel up and over your head.
Movement:
Slowly, begin moving the towel back and forth from side to side as though you were drying off the back of your head.
Duration:
10 to 15 times to the back and 10 to 15 times to the front.
Remember:
Try stepping in other
directions such as back or forward with the same basic towel
movement.
Variation:
Instead of moving the towel from side-to-side, try moving the towel slowly up and down to each side.
Tip:
To better understand how holding the towel in different positions affects specific muscles, first try holding the towel with your hands facing you, and then try it holding it with your hands facing away from you. Feel the difference with each movement.
