V Leg Lift
TowelChi Health and Fitness Concepts - V leg lifts Routine
 
Position: A forward open stance.
Towel: Slide the middle of the towel under your front foot. Holding the towel taut, wrap one end of the towel around each hand. You can start by wrapping the ends of the towel around your hands a few times so you are closer to the ground. After trying it and feeling more comfortable, you can you can unwrap the towel more, which will increase the difficulty level.
Movement:

Slowly pull your foot up by raising your arms up, out and over your head.

Lower your leg as you bring your arms down and back together to meet in the middle.

Start off by raising your arms a little and making any necessary adjustments to improve your balance before trying to lift your leg higher.

Duration:
10 times with each leg.
Remember: Take deep breaths and tighten your abdominal muscles as you raise your leg up.
