Butterfly Leg Lifts
TowelChi Health and Fitness Concepts - Laying Down Butterfly Leg Lifts Routine
 
Position: Lie on your back with your feet together and knees bent. Keep your lower back flat on the floor.
Towel: Wrap the towel around each foot one time. Keep the towel taut. Then wrap one end of the towel around each hand.
Movement:

Slowly raise your arms up and over your head as you bring your feet towards you keeping your knees out.

Hold for a second then slowly bring your arms down and extend your legs.

Duration:

15 or 30 times.

Remember:

Focus on body form, motion and proper breathing.

Exhale slowly while lowering your legs and inhale while lifting your legs.

Keep your lower back to the ground.

Breathe deeply down to the bottom of your stomach.

Distribute the resistance between your arms, legs and abdominal muscles.

Do not put resistance on your shoulders and neck.
